Product Engineer (SDET/QA)


OSlash is looking to hire an experienced Product Engineer(SDET) to join our in-house team. If you have excellent software development skills and love building high-quality products, we’d love to have you be a part of our small team!

What we are looking for –

  1. At least 2-5 years of experience in professional testing
  2. Deep understanding of Manual & Automation test methodologies and principles
  3. Experience working with Web, Mobile, and API Testing - both manual & automation
  4. Experience using testing frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, Taiko
  5. Experience using common software tools like Git & Github
  6. Solid analytical & problem-solving skills

Our  stack –

We're 100% serverless!

We welcome using any programming language or framework if it solves the problem in the most optimal way. The team, combined, already holds experience in writing JavaScript/Node.js, React Native, Python, Scala, Java, Ruby, C & Go.

  1. Node.js & TypeScript for the backend, along with AWS AppSync and DynamoDB.
  2. React & TypeScript for the frontend.
  3. AWS for our entire infrastructure.
  4. Serverless to deploy everything as lambdas.
  5. CDKTF and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
  6. GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
  7. Sentry & Datadog for error analytics and monitoring.
  8. Linear for issue tracking and project management (not Jira, so yay).

Problems you will be solving –

  1. How to write solid automation tests that are easy to maintain.
  2. How to design and implement future-proof test data.
  3. How to implement simulations & load tests for mission-critical tests.
