How to connect your applications to OSlash universal search?

OSlash universal search connects with all your favorite workspace applications including but not limited to the G-suite apps, Jira, Linear, Github, Slack, and more.

Connecting an application to universal search for the first time:

  1. Open the OSlash dashboard (use o/ + enter in the address bar)
  2. Click on Quick Find in the sidebar

  1. Toggle the button to connect your apps to universal search. You’ll be shown a dialog box to enable the respective app integration with OSlash. Click Continue
  1. You’ll get a success message showing that the integration is complete.

Once you have connected at least one app to universal search, you can follow an alternative series of steps to add more integrations.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the OSlash dashboard (use o/ + enter in the address bar)
  2. Click on Settings in the left sidebar
  3. Head to the Integrations tab and click on Add new
  1. Select from the list of new app integrations by toggling the button to on

Note: You can also disable an integration if you no longer want universal search to fetch results from it, though we do not recommend it as it may result in a less than optimum search experience.

To disable an integration

  1. Open the OSlash dashboard (use o/ + enter in the address bar)
  2. Click on Settings in the left sidebar
  3. Head to the Integrations tab. By default, the list of your connected apps will be shown
  1. Select the relevant app from the list and disable it by toggling the button to off
