How to use a snippet?

To insert a snippet into any of your text editors or other apps, simply

  • Type o/<snippet-name> Ex: o/intro
  • This will invoke OSlash autocomplete which will show you a list of potential matches for the right snippet
  • Select the snippet you need
  • This will open up a form-based pop-up on your screen. Here, you will have the option to customize the variable values for your snippet. Ex: {first name}, {last name}, {company} etc.
  • Once you’ve reviewed the details, click on Insert
  • Your snippet will be inserted into the text editor/app.

And you’ll have shaved minutes of busywork off your day, just like that!
